Alex Gingerella

Alex Gingerella, MPH, currently serves as the Senior Project Manager for Maternal & Reproductive Health at NYC Health + Hospitals since July 2022 and has been a Consultant Research Coordinator for Women Help Women since June 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Health Communication Specialist and COVID Data Tracker Communications Lead at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from July 2020 to March 2022, where Alex developed communication materials for COVID data updates. Additional consultancy work includes curriculum development for Elle Peut Naidim focusing on menstrual health and hygiene, and teaching gender and sexuality education at The School at Columbia University. Alex’s research experience spans multiple institutions, including roles at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and Rutgers School of Public Health. Alex holds a Master of Public Health in Population and Family Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of the Holy Cross.
