David Weisman

David Weisman, PhD, CPXP, FPCC, is a highly experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Chief Experience Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals since June 2013, where responsibilities include co-leading the Patient Advisory Group and the Patient Experience Grievance Committee, overseeing patient relations, language access, pastoral care, and food and nutrition. Prior to this, David held roles such as Mental Health Specialist with the Mobile Crisis Team at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York and Director of the Smoking Cessation Program at Elmhurst Hospital Center. David's extensive experience also includes positions as a Mental Health Specialist/Shift Supervisor at Catholic Charities and as a Psychotherapist at Transitional Services for New York, Inc. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology from The New School and has a strong educational background in psychology, including a Master of Arts from The New School and a Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University.
