Desiree Castro

Desiree Castro is an experienced professional in human resources and operations, currently serving as the Director of Operations for HR Shared Services at NYC Health + Hospitals since November 2019. Prior to this role, Desiree held various positions at Russell Reynolds Associates, including Manager of Human Capital Information Systems and Senior Functional Analyst, where significant contributions to PeopleSoft projects were made. Earlier career experiences include positions at the MTA, where Desiree managed compensation administration programs and played an integral role in PeopleSoft HCM implementations across multiple operating agencies. Desiree’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Industrial Labor Relations/Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management, both obtained from City University of New York-Baruch College.
