Lani Garris

Lani Garris currently serves as the Director of Perioperative Services at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this role, Garris held several leadership positions at Hackensack Meridian Health from March 2001 to October 2018, including Vice President of the Office of Human Experience and Administrative Director of Ambulatory Perioperative Services, where responsibilities included managing a $38 million budget and representing Perioperative Services on the Patient Safety Committee. Garris also held the position of Administrative Director for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Garris earned a Master’s degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed undergraduate studies at St. Peter's University.
