Maidel de la Cruz

Maidel De La Cruz, MPA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Government & Community Affairs at NYC Health + Hospitals since August 2020, having previously held positions as Senior Director and Director within the same organization. Prior experience includes roles at the NYC Office of the Mayor from May 2017 to August 2020, where responsibilities encompassed Chief of Staff for both Intergovernmental Affairs and City Legislative Affairs, as well as Policy Advisor for Health Care Delivery. Earlier career highlights include work with the Florida Democratic Party as an Organizer and positions with Hillary for America and the Clinton Foundation. Maidel De La Cruz holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from The College of New Jersey.
