Margaret Ramirez

Margaret Ramirez serves as the Senior Director of Communications & Marketing at NYC Health + Hospitals since June 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Editor of Digital and Social Content at CUNY from August 2012 to June 2016, and various reporting positions at esteemed publications such as the Chicago Tribune (2005-2011), Newsday (2000-2004, 1996-1998), and the Los Angeles Times (1998-2000). Margaret Ramirez holds a Master's degree in International Affairs, specializing in Latin American Studies and Journalism from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, along with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Cornell University. Additionally, education was completed at The Bronx High School of Science.
