Maya Sydir

Maya Sydir, LMSW, currently serves as a Social Worker at NYC Health + Hospitals since November 2023 and as a Child and Family Therapist with the Association to Benefit Children (ABC) since September 2022. Previously, Maya worked as a Hospital Social Worker at NYC HHC Elmhurst Hospital Center, providing support to parents of NICU children and engaging in discharge planning. Prior roles include Case Manager at Little Treasures-Petits Trésors, where Maya interned managing care for adult clients, and Behavioral Therapist at STAR of CA, providing ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Early experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Orfalea Children's Center and a Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara. Maya holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
