Natalia first pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Stony Brook University from 1998 to 2001. Later, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New York University between 2003 and 2006. Following this, Natalia obtained a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in the Nurse Leaders Program at New York University from 2007 to 2009.

Continuing their education, they attended New York University once again to participate in the Leadership Institute for Black Nurses in 2010. Natalia then pursued further specialization by earning their Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, focusing on Nursing Executive Leadership, at The George Washington University from 2012 to 2015.

In 2020 and 2021, Natalia Cineas completed a post-doctoral fellowship as the Samuel H. Maria Miller Fellow at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University.
