Omar Douce

Omar Douce has extensive experience in community health and political organizing. Currently serving as a Community Health Worker for NYC Health + Hospitals since March 2017, Omar specializes in supporting individuals with a history of incarceration by facilitating access to primary care, specialty services, and community resources. Previous roles include Care Coordinator and Community Outreach Specialist, where responsibilities included securing access to healthcare and engaging Medicaid recipients in Brooklyn. Omar's political experience spans multiple campaigns, including field organizing positions with North Shore Strategies and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, focusing on voter outreach and community engagement. Omar holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College.
