Nora Daniel serves as the Chief of Staff and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the NYC Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice, a position held since August 2020. Previously, Nora held the position of Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the NYC Administration for Children's Services from March 2018 to August 2020, and was a 2019 CUP Fellow with the Council of Urban Professionals. Nora's earlier experience includes roles as Director of Community and Government Affairs and Community and Government Affairs Coordinator at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation, as well as serving as a New York City Legislative Analyst/Writer at Countable. Between 2012 and April 2015, Nora worked at the New York City Council, initially as Legislative Assistant and later as Legislative Director, overseeing various legislative duties and communications. Nora is a graduate of Columbia Law School, having earned a degree between 2004 and 2007.
