Tommy Nguyen

Tommy Nguyen, MPA, MS Ed, has a diverse work experience. Tommy currently works as the AATEND Lead for NYC Men Teach, a role they began in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked for the NYC Department of Education, where they served as a Special Education Teacher and a NYC Teaching Fellow starting in September and May 2018 respectively. Tommy also has experience as an Account Manager at AdNet Advertising Agency Inc from March 2015 to May 2018. In addition, they interned at the EEOC as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Intern from June to November 2013, and at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York as a Probation/Pre-trial Service Intern from January to June 2013.

Tommy Nguyen, MPA, MS Ed. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY) in 2010. Tommy then pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Public Policy Analysis and Human Resources Management from John Jay College (CUNY) from 2011 to 2013. In 2018, they enrolled at Hunter College and obtained a Master of Science in Education (MS Ed.) with a specialization in Special Education and Teaching in 2020. In 2019, Tommy also obtained a certification as a Teacher in Special Education from the NYC Department of Education.
