Amanda Thomas-Wilson PhD, FACMG, currently serves as the Associate Director of Molecular Diagnostics at the New York Genome Center, a position held since July 2019. Prior to this role, Amanda completed a Clinical Molecular and Cytogenetics Fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from July 2017 to June 2019. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Clinical Biochemical Genetics from the University of Utah, obtained between 2014 and 2017, a Doctor of Philosophy in Human and Molecular Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine, earned from 2007 to 2014, and a Master of Science in Genetics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
