Jessica Fung is an Associate Scientist at New York Genome Center since May 2022, previously serving in the same role at Pfizer from May 2019 to April 2022. Jessica's experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included guiding students in tissue culture and microbiology techniques. Jessica also contributed as an Undergraduate Researcher, investigating molecular imaging agents in prostate cancer cells and optimizing protocols for developmental biology. Additional research experience includes production optimization of Salivaricin A2 during participation in the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program and cloning bacteriocin during an internship. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology & Molecular Biosciences from Rochester Institute of Technology, earned in 2018.
