Kevin McGhee

Kevin McGhee has a diverse work experience in the field of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Compliance. Kevin started their career as a Laboratory Manager at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2005 and then served as a Laboratory Safety Officer and Biological Safety Officer. In 2014, they joined the New York Genome Center where they held various positions, starting as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager and progressing to roles such as Senior Manager of Safety and Compliance, Associate Director of EHS and Compliance, and currently serving as the Director of EHS, Compliance & Facilities.

Kevin McGhee earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Kevin also obtained additional certifications, including Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in August 2018 and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in January 2015.
