Michael Ficurilli

Michael Ficurilli is a skilled Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist at New York Genome Center with expertise in processing various biological samples for genomic testing. Previous roles include being a Sr. R&D Specialist at Acutis Diagnostics, where responsibilities encompassed the development and validation of diagnostic assays, and a Scientist/R&D Formulations Lab Supervisor at Chembio Diagnostic Systems, Inc., focusing on point-of-care diagnostic tests. Michael's research experience includes studying bacterial outer membrane vesicles at The Meers Laboratory at Rutgers University. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Long Island University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Rutgers University.
