Rajeeva Lochan Musunuri is an experienced data scientist and bioinformatics programmer currently employed at the New York Genome Center since February 2016, where roles have included Data Scientist, Senior Bioinformatics Programmer, and Bioinformatics Programmer. Prior experience includes a bioinformatics internship at the New York Genome Center in 2015, where a pipeline was developed to validate somatic structural variants. Rajeeva also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Hunter College, creating an annotation pipeline for transcriptome analysis of marine cone snails. Earlier, a project intern role at the Institute of Medical Informatics and Biometry involved developing a variant calling pipeline for rare autosomal disorder candidate variants. Rajeeva holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from New York University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from PSG College of Technology.
