Ashish Jain, PhD

Ashish Jain, PhD has a range of work experience in the field of research and product development. Ashish is currently working as a Senior Scientist in Product Development (CMC) at Nykode Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Engineer/Researcher at the University of Oslo from November 2021 to January 2023. Ashish also worked at Oslo universitetssykehus as a Postdoctoral Researcher from December 2015 to November 2021. Ashish Jain gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UiT The Arctic University of Norway from December 2012 to November 2015, where they also served as a PhD Research Fellow from September 2008 to November 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Research Trainee at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) for a brief period from January 2008 to June 2008.

Ashish Jain, PhD, began their education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Bargi Nagar, Jabalpur, where they completed their primary and secondary education from 1995 to 2001. Ashish then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, Zoology, and Chemistry from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya in Jabalpur from 2001 to 2004.

Furthering their education, Ashish obtained a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Punjab Technical University from 2004 to 2006. Ashish then went on to complete a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology with a specialization in Biotechnology from the University of Skövde, which they attended from 2007 to 2008.

Continuing their academic journey, Ashish pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular/Cell Biology at the UiT- The Arctic University of Norway from 2008 to 2012.
