Lars-Egil Fallang has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and scientific roles. Lars-Egil started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Dynal a/s in 1992 and worked part-time until 1998. Lars-Egil then joined Duke University as a Research Technician II from 2000 to 2001. Lars-Egil pursued their PhD at the Institute of Immunology - Rikshospitalet from 2004 to 2009, focusing on Celiac disease and diagnostic tool development. Lars-Egil continued their research journey at Oslo universitetssykehus HF as a Post.doc., where they worked on immunotherapy and the redirection of patient T cells into cancer-eliminating cells. In 2013, Lars-Egil joined Biogen as a Medical Liaison Manager and contributed to the field of medical sciences until 2016. Lars-Egil then became a Medical Manager at Gilead Sciences from 2016 to 2017. Lars-Egil served as a Medical Advisor at Novartis Oncology from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they work as a Scientific Biomarker Lead at Nykode Therapeutics since August 2021.
