Louise Bjerkan

Louise Bjerkan has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Louise is currently employed at Nykode Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist, a role they started in October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oslo from January 2015 to October 2020. Before that, they were a PhD Candidate at the same institution from October 2009 to June 2014. Additionally, they obtained their MSc degree from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in 2009.

Louise Bjerkan completed their education in a systematic and progressive manner, starting with their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained in the period of 2003 to 2007. Louise then pursued further studies and earned their Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, completing it between 2007 and 2009. Continuing their academic journey, Bjerkan went on to pursue a PhD in Immunology and Cell Biology at the University of Oslo (UiO), which they successfully completed from 2009 to 2014.
