Marit Renee Myhre began their work experience as a PHD Candidate at UiT Norges arktiske universitet from August 2000 to April 2008. Marit Renee then joined Oslo universitetssykehus in 2009, where they had two roles. Firstly, as a Research Fellow at the Section of Cellular Therapy, Translational Research Unit, they were responsible for pre-clinical studies, analysis, and validation of immune treatment mechanisms and effects, as well as in vivo modeling and verification of novel cell-based therapies. Marit Renee also supervised and trained others and conducted in vivo experiments. Secondly, they served as a Research Fellow at the Department of Immunology, Institute for Cancer Research, OUS-Radiumhospitalet, from May 2009 to January 2013. Currently, Marit is a Senior Scientist at Nykode Therapeutics since February 2022.

Marit Renee Myhre's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, which they completed from 1997 to 1999.
