Palle Sørensen

Palle Sørensen is the Chief Economist at Nykredit since September 2021, overseeing the organization's outlook on the Danish economy and serving as a media spokesperson with extensive presentation experience. Prior to this role, Palle worked as Senior Economist and Head of Climate Policy at Axcelfuture, focusing on climate policies, taxation, and the impacts of the pandemic and digital disruption. Experience at Copenhagen Economics included serving as Senior Economist, where Palle provided expert economic analysis on taxation, housing, and financial markets, while also managing projects for both public and private clients. Earlier roles included working as an Economist at Finanskrisekommissionen and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Aarhus University. Palle earned a PhD in Economics from Aarhus University and has been a Visiting Scholar at Northwestern University.
