Omer Hanetz

Omer Hanetz is the Chief Architect of Enterprise Systems at Nym. Omer has over six years of experience in the software engineering industry, with a focus on big data platform development and data analytics.

Omer began their career as a Senior Engineer at Webyclip, where they developed a solution for automatically integrating videos for products on e-commerce websites. Omer then moved on to PayPal, where they led a team of three developers in building a solution for suspicious behavior detection as part of the security organization. In their role at PayPal, Omer also managed the big data infrastructures for the entire product center.

Omer is an expert in Python and has used a wide range of big data technologies including Elastic, Spark, Kafka, CouchBase, and others. Omer has also provided ElasticSearch consultation for organizations. In their current role at Nym, Omer is responsible for leading the development of the company's backend applications.

Omer Hanetz attended Tel Aviv University for their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Omer then attended Ohel Shem for their schooling.

They are on a team with Hadar Cohen - Software Engineer, Guy Halevi - Chief Architect, Core Platform & Applications, and Shachar Berg - Engineering Team Leader. Omer Hanetz reports to Adam Rimon, CTO.
