Tom Virden

Tom Virden has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tom is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, a position they have held since 2019. In 2014, they co-founded NymblScience and continues to serve in that role. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Executive Chairman of Boatbookings, a leading yacht charter company, from 2005 to present.

Tom also has experience as a Director, including at Impact Hub Academy from 2017 to 2019, SweetBeam from 2009 to 2018, Micro Focus from 2012 to 2017, and Atari, Inc. from 2010 to 2014. Tom served as the Director, International, at lastminute.com from 1998 to 2005, and as the Head of European Websites at Netscape Communications from 1997 to 1998.

Earlier in their career, Tom held the role of VP Marketing at Digidesign from 1992 to 1995.

Tom Virden attended Stanford University from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology.
