Debbie Redmond has a long and varied work experience. Debbie began their career in 1995 as a Technical Support Engineer at Hummingbird Communications. In 1996, they took on the role of Manager of System Operations at Halton District School Board and also worked as an Instructor at Halton Adult Continuing Education Centre in 1997. In 2000, they joined Dell EMC as a Manager of Product Management and Senior Engineer of Service Readiness. In 2011, they were promoted to Consultant Information Design and Developer/Principle Technical Writer at Dell EMC. In 2018, they became Manager, Customer Experience at Nymi and also held the role of User Acceptance Tester, Lead. Currently, they are working as a Freelance Technical Writer.

Debbie Redmond has a diverse educational background. Debbie obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in 1994, majoring in Computing and Information Sciences and minoring in Business Administration. Debbie then attended Sheridan College, where they earned a Management Studies degree in 2003 and an Ontario Management Diploma in 2002. Debbie also completed a Technical Writing Certificate from Humber College in 2014. Most recently, they obtained a Masters of Science in Information Design and Development from Munster Technological University in 2018, with a focus on Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing.
