Richard Ward has over 35 years of work experience. Richard began their career in 1983 as a Mechanical Technician Apprentice at British Aerospace- Army Weapons Division. In 1988, they moved to Com Dev Europe Ltd as a Mechanical Engineer. In 1995, they joined Newmarket DataSystems as a Development Engineer. In 1997, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at AAL Ltd. In 1998, they were a Project Development Manager at Dialight PLC. In 2007, they became the Chief Engineer at Ricardo plc. Most recently, they joined Nyobolt in 2022 as the Head of Mechanical Engineering, where they are focused on the mechanical and thermal design aspects for battery applications across all industry sectors.
Richard Ward's education history includes a Diploma of Education in Mathematics from The Open University (2004-2009), IMeche CEng Part2 Examinations in Mechanics, Fluids, Materials from Watford College of Higher Education (1989-1991), a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Stevenage College of Higher Education (1987-1989), and an ONC / HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Luton College of Higher Education (1983-1987).
