Douglas Horsting

Douglas Horsting is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in various roles related to safety and crime prevention. Currently serving as the Security Operations Manager at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since April 2025, Douglas previously held the position of Organized Retail Crime Manager and Law Enforcement Liaison at RITE AID, where significant achievements included the design and implementation of security programs that reduced theft nationwide. Prior to that, Douglas worked as an Armed/Unarmed Patrol Officer for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, a School Safety & Security Agent for Hastings-On-Hudson Public Schools, and a Senior Supervisor of Security & Safety at St. John's Riverside Hospital. Douglas holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Mercy University, obtained in 2017.
