Marsha Desire

Marsha Desire, BSN, RN, currently serves as a Registered Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since September 2022. Prior experience includes a Nursing Student position at Lenox Hill Hospital with a 12-week clinical rotation in the Medical Surgical Unit, and 15-week clinical rotations at Maimonides Medical Center and Flushing Hospital, also in the Medical Surgical Unit. Additional clinical rotations include providing inpatient Acute Psychiatric Care for adults and a 7-week rotation in the Pediatric Department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Marsha Desire gained early work experience as a cashier at The TJX Companies, Inc. and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, along with a sales associate position at Sears. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University and ongoing progress towards a Master's degree in Nursing Administration from Mercy University. Prior educational foundations include a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Hunter College and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts from LaGuardia Community College.
