Nelson Menezes has extensive experience in the medical field, serving as Interim Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Interim Chairman of Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center since July 1997. In addition, Nelson holds the position of Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the same institution. Since May 2009, Nelson has also been an Attending Vascular Surgeon at New York Methodist Hospital while concurrently serving as the Executive Medical Director of Nelson Menezes Vascular Specialist PC. Nelson Menezes obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Bombay, completing studies in the Vascular Surgery Residency Program from 1975 to 1980.
