Valone Brown Jr.

Valone Brown Jr., MA, currently serves as the Statewide Social Justice Engagement Coordinator for the New York State AFL-CIO and as Program Director at One Hundred Black Men, where responsibilities include advocating for social justice and overseeing a hybrid mentoring program for youth. With extensive experience in community engagement and policy development, Valone has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Learning to Work Program at St. Nicks Alliance and Policy Director for a NYC Council campaign. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Policy Analysis and Public Policy from Duquesne University and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. Valone actively participates in various organizations, promoting professional development and civic engagement.
