Bill Owens

Bill Owens has extensive experience in network architecture and technology, having worked at NYSERNet since March 1995, where roles have included Chief Network Architect, Chief Technology Officer, Director of Advanced Technology and Networking, Advanced Network Technology Program Manager, Customer Implementation Manager, and Provisioning Specialist. Prior to NYSERNet, Bill Owens served as a Network Engineer at the University of Rochester from May 1993 to March 1995 and at the University at Buffalo from May 1989 to May 1993. Bill Owens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, earned between 1985 and 1989.
