Lauren Fisher

Lauren Fisher's work experience includes serving as the Director of Financial Administration at the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) starting in June 2021. Prior to this role, they were a Budget Examiner at the New York State Division of the Budget from November 2015 to June 2021. Before that, they worked as an Environmental Analyst at Lender Consulting Services, conducting assessments and investigations in various regions. Lauren also worked as a Research Assistant at EcoQuest Education Foundation and as a Policy Intern at Environmental Advocates of New York.

Lauren Fisher completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science and Geography from the University of New Hampshire from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they attended the EcoQuest Education Foundation, focusing on Environmental Science. Additionally, Lauren Fisher obtained two certifications: a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification from Saratoga Safety in January 2013, and a Confined Space Entry certification, also from Saratoga Safety, in the same month and year.
