Chris Carney

Chris Carney, PMP, currently serves as a Principal Consultant at New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC) since March 2019, after progressing through roles as a Senior Consultant and Consultant. In parallel, Chris is an Instructor and Public Safety Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) at SAIC, contributing to the CISA and ICTAP program. Previous experience includes serving as a Communication System Specialist at the Orange County Department of Emergency Services, where oversight of a countywide public safety radio communications system was a key responsibility, and earlier roles at Orange County Emergency Communications as a Dispatch Trainer and Public Safety Dispatcher, focusing on training and communication management. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management with a minor in Fire Service Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
