Amber Williams is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles, primarily at The New York Times since 2017, where Amber serves as a Senior News Editor and oversees the New York Times for Kids section. Previously, Amber held positions at Scientific American as an Associate Editor and at Popular Science as both an Assistant Editor and a previous editorial intern. Other earlier experiences include roles at Wired Magazine, Audubon Magazine, and The Free George. Amber obtained an M.A. in Journalism from New York University and a B.S./B.A. in Biology and English from Boston College, demonstrating a strong foundation in both science and writing.
