Lara Rothenberg

Lara Rothenberg, CPA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Executive Director of FP&A for Product Development & Technology at The New York Times since May 2021. Previously, Lara held various leadership positions at HBO from 2002 to 2019, including Director of Analysis, Planning and Operations, where responsibilities included driving financial budgeting and operational effectiveness, and managing the Annual Budget and Long-Term Plan for Technology. Other roles at HBO included Director of Finance for Financial Systems, focusing on system enhancements and security, as well as managerial positions in project accounting and consolidated financial reporting. Earlier in her career, Lara worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in financial statement audits. Lara holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Boston University School of Management.
