Ralf Loserth

Ralf Loserth is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and management across notable organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at The New York Times since January 2015, Ralf has contributed to award-winning projects and is involved in a significant transition to AWS. Prior to this, Ralf held multiple roles at San Antonio Express News, including Director of IT Infrastructure and Director of Publishing Systems, where responsibilities spanned Unix and Oracle systems management and compliance oversight. Previous positions include Senior Systems Engineer at TechNow Inc. and systems administration at IQ Software Corporation, along with military service as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserve. Ralf holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from St. Mary's University and a BA in Computer Science and Applied Statistics from the same institution, complemented by MBA coursework at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
