Verónica Sanchis Bencomo

Verónica Sanchis Bencomo is an experienced photo editor and photographer currently working as a Freelance Photo Editor for The New York Times since September 2022. With a strong background in promoting female photographers through the online platform Verónica founded, Foto Féminas, Verónica has also contributed as a Freelance Contributor for the Photographic Museum of Humanity and various photography media outlets. Previous roles include In-House Photographer for Habitat Property in Hong Kong, Gallery Assistant at Puerta Roja Limited, and positions in photography studios across Europe. Verónica holds a BA (Hons) in Photojournalism from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a Bachelor of Technology National Diploma in Photography from Brighton MET.
