Zolan Kanno-Youngs

White House Correspondent at The New York Times

Zolan Kanno-Youngs is an accomplished journalist with significant experience in covering political and sports news. Since February 2019, Zolan has served as a White House Correspondent and Homeland Security Correspondent for The New York Times. Prior to this, Zolan worked at The Wall Street Journal from September 2015 to February 2019, focusing on Greater New York news. Additional experience includes a role as a sports intern at USA TODAY Sports Media Group, where coverage focused on NFL and college sports, and a position as a Sports/Metro Correspondent at The Boston Globe, reporting on high school sports and city news from January 2013 to May 2015. Zolan also held various reporting and broadcasting roles at institutions like WRBB 104.9FM Boston, The Cape Times in South Africa, Huntington News, and CBS Radio. Zolan graduated from Northeastern University in 2016 and attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School prior to that.
