Chris Brown

Chris Brown is a seasoned leader in therapeutic recreation, child life services, and creative arts therapies, currently serving as the Director of Therapeutic Recreation, Child Life, & Creative Arts Therapies at NYU Langone Medical Center since April 2016. With extensive experience as a Program Review and Development Consultant for the Child Life Council since 1992, Chris specializes in assessing child life program needs, new program development, and stakeholder collaboration. Previous roles include Director of Child Life Services at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital, Director of Pediatric Outcomes at GetWellNetwork, and Director of Child Life & Family Centered Care at Dell Children's Medical Center, among others. Chris holds a B.S. in Child Development & Family Studies from Purdue University and an M.S. in Child Care Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
