Jose L. Labarca III

Jose L. LaBarca III serves as the Director of Human Resources at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital since June 2019. With extensive experience in human resources, LaBarca has held several leadership positions, including the Director of Human Resources at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn from January 2016 to June 2019, and the Director of Human Resources for NYU Lutheran Augustana Center for Extended Care & Rehabilitation from June 2013 to December 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing significant organizational transitions. Prior to these roles, LaBarca was the Director of Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner at Lutheran Healthcare and the Manager of Employee/Labor Relations at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. LaBarca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from Lehman College and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations from the New York Institute of Technology.
