Niranjan Khadka is a Senior Research Scientist at NYU Langone Health, focusing on heart rate variability-guided neuromodulation and the development of clinical neuromodulation biomarkers. Previously, as a Senior Biomedical Engineer at Synchron, Niranjan contributed to the creation of an innovative neural interface through computational modeling and clinical studies. At Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Niranjan researched high-definition ECT for brain targeting and optimized electrode designs. Experience also includes roles as a Research Associate at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, where Niranjan led clinical studies on neurostimulation, and as an R&D Engineer at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, improving cardiac cell analysis techniques. Niranjan began the career at Soterix Medical, developing methods for monitoring tDCS electrode stability, and additionally worked in instructional design at LaGuardia Community College. Niranjan holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The City University of New York and an MPhil in the same field from The City College of New York.
