Tianyu Wang

Tianyu Wang is a skilled data science professional with experience in medical imaging and optimization problems. At NYU Langone Health since June 2018, Tianyu developed imaging biomarkers using 3D MRI data to monitor knee joint health, successfully building a 3D convolutional neural-net model that enhanced TKR forecasting accuracy from 76% to 83%. Previously, as a Research Assistant at the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from January to August 2017, Tianyu focused on optimizing gate assignments and reassignments in airport settings. Tianyu holds a Master's degree in Data Science from New York University (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Utah (2011-2016).
