Kristian Cowart

Kristian Cowart is currently engaged in an AttentionLab Research Internship at Utrecht University, focusing on a research project under the supervision of Dr. Stefan van der Stigchel in the Department of Experimental Psychology. Previously, Kristian completed an Addiction Neuroscience Research Internship, investigating the age-related effects of alcohol addiction with Dr. Heidi Lesscher and Sofie van Koppen. Kristian has also served as a Researcher II in the Division of Neurobiology and Behavior Research at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, working alongside Dr. Kevin Freeman, and held the position of Student Project Analyst in the Psychiatry Department. Earlier academic contributions include tutoring in Biological Sciences at Millsaps College's Center for Academic Success and Excellence. Kristian is pursuing a Master of Science in Neuroscience and Cognition at Utrecht University, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Millsaps College.
