Yonnette Joseph

Yonnette Joseph, RN CIP, currently serves as a Senior Scientific Manager in IRB Operations at NYU Langone Health, overseeing a team responsible for the review of over 7,000 submissions annually while ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Previously, Yonnette held the position of IRB Board Lead at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, managing the review of more than 700 research studies each year and contributing to IRB procedures and training. Yonnette's early career included roles at Americares as a Senior Program Associate, where responsibilities encompassed partner relations and emergency response coordination during various disasters. Yonnette holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from DePauw University and an Associate in Applied Science in Registered Nursing from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
