Kristy Lamb

Kristy Lamb, PhD, serves as the Assistant Dean and Associate Director of Preprofessional Advising at New York University since July 2017, providing academic and preprofessional guidance to the NYU College of Arts and Science. Concurrently, Kristy has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at St. John's University since 2024, previously teaching an online section of Scientific Inquiry and serving as a STEM Career Advisor from 2014 to 2017. With a robust research background, Kristy was a Postdoctoral Associate at Weill Cornell Medical College and earned a PhD in Genetics from Yale University, where there was notable research and teaching involvement. Academic credentials include a BS in Microbiology and a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from North Carolina State University, along with a Core Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School.
