Yair Bergner

Yair Bergner is an accomplished Implant Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at Nyxoah since October 2023. Previously, Yair served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at XACT Robotics, overseeing the testing and launch of an innovative disposable kit for ablation needles while mentoring mechanical students. At Laminate Medical Technologies Ltd., Yair progressed through various roles, culminating as Director of R&D, where responsibilities included managing R&D activities and overseeing clinical and regulatory affairs. Earlier experience includes R&D Project Manager and R&D Project Leader, focusing on product design and market analysis. Yair began a career in the ophthalmic medical device sector as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at Sinai Medical, emphasizing custom design and manufacturing. Yair holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
