Xiao Gong (Shell)

Xiao(Shell) Gong is a Senior Software Developer at NZ Funds since June 2021, working on the in-house investment management system, Point, with an objective to offer it as a SaaS solution for other investment firms. Prior to this, Xiao(Shell) held the position of Specialist III Developer (Full-Stack) at IAG from April 2018 to June 2021, focusing on Azure Cloud Computing and microservices architecture. Experience also includes working as a Senior Software Developer at Pegasus Health, contributing to the Electronic Request Management System, and as an Embedded Software Developer at GE Energy NZ, where involvement in agile processes was key. Earlier roles include Software Developer for PayGlobal and an internship as a Software Tester at Objectiva Software Solutions. Xiao(Shell) holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2005.
