Melissa Moroney

Melissa Moroney is a finance professional with extensive experience in the rugby sector and audit roles. Since July 2019, Melissa has worked at New Zealand Rugby as a Finance Business Partner, taking on key positions including Finance Manager for the Rugby World Cup 2021 and Management Accountant for Women's Rugby. Prior to this, Melissa was employed at KPMG New Zealand from March 2016 to July 2019, concluding as an Assistant Manager after serving as an Auditor. Notably, Melissa undertook a short-term international assignment as an Audit Senior at KPMG Luxembourg in early 2019. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington, obtained between 2013 and 2015.
