Brent Alderton

Brent Alderton serves as the Group General Manager Regulatory and Director of Land Transport at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. Previously, Brent held the position of Chief Executive at Mary Potter Hospice and the Commerce Commission, where responsibilities included Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Regulation. Additionally, Brent is the Managing Director at Messines Consulting Ltd. Brent's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Political Studies and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics, both from the University of Otago, attained between 1986 and 1991. Recently, Brent has taken a career break to pursue personal goals.
