Melissa Reid

Melissa Reid is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience across multiple sectors, including transportation and health services. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency since February 2023, Melissa previously held positions as an Associate at Currie & Brown and as a Senior Project Manager at London Underground, where efforts focused on delivering Step Free Access initiatives. Melissa's career at Transport for London involved various roles, culminating in leadership positions that emphasized project management skills. Prior to those roles, Melissa operated as Director of Melissa Jane Reid Consultancy Limited, managing significant health service projects for the National Health Services and South West Trains. Melissa's earlier experience includes project management and operational policy work with Compass Health Wellington Trust. Educational qualifications include a BA in English Literature and Film, a PGDip in Health Services Management, and a BSc in Chemistry, all from reputable institutions in New Zealand.
