Scott Childs

Scott Childs currently serves as Senior Manager of Transport Operations at NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi and has also held the role of Manager Performance & Practice since November 2021. In addition, Scott is a Board Member of the Marram Community Trust, contributing to the oversight and strategic direction of the organization. Prior experience includes leadership roles at NEC Corporation as General Manager of Operations & Delivery and at Chorus NZ Limited, where Scott led several operational and commercial teams, significantly enhancing customer experience and business outcomes. Scott's career began at Telecom NZ, where various positions were held, alongside an early role at British Airways. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Studies in Management from Massey University and completion of executive education at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
